Broken Brackets Emergency

An orthodontic emergency is any situation that involves one of the following:

• Severe pain that cannot be relieved with over-the-counter pain medications.
• Bleeding
• Swelling
• Any loss of function where the patient cannot wait to be seen during regular office hours.

If any of the above situation is true, please follow these instructions:

• Urgent messages should be left BOTH on the office voicemail (412.366.0776) and then the emergency number left on the voicemail.
• When leaving a number on the emergency number, please leave a time when it is acceptable to receive a return phone call.

In the event that Dr. Komoroski is out of town or away at a meeting, there is a qualified proxy to see emergencies, please contact the office.
